China General-Purpose Rubber Conveyor Belt Suppliers and Factory for Building Materials and Bulk Items
,
China suppliers offer high-quality ordinary conveyor belts designed for various industries, including building materials, chemical processing, coal, power generation, and metallurgy. These conveyor belts are ideal for handling non-corrosive and non-sharp materials at room temperature, such as coal, coke, sand, gravel, and cement. Our factory produces conveyor systems that effectively transport loose materials or bulk items with a stacking density ranging from 6.5 to 2.5t/m3, ensuring efficient and reliable performance in any industrial setting.
This product is refined from all cotton canvas (CC) or nylon NN polyester EP through processes such as rolling, forming, and vulcanization.
This product is suitable for different usage conditions and can be made into different structures such as edge wrapped, open edge, middle ladder, edge ladder, etc.
Specifications
🧵 Core MaterialPolyester cotton interwoven fabric TC-70 type, all cotton canvas CC-56 type
This type of conveyor belt uses fiber fabric as the core and general rubber as the covering material, with a smooth and flat surface. The core is a layered or integral fabric woven from fibers such as cotton, nylon, polyester, or vinylon.
⚠️ Cotton Fiber: The earliest used core material, easy to bond with rubber. Its strength slightly increases when wet, but breaking strength is low (mostly around 56 N/(mm·layer)), and anti-corrosion and mildew resistance is poor. Its use is gradually decreasing.
✅ Nylon Fiber: Used since the late 1950s and has become the most widely used type. Strength up to 700 N/(mm/layer), water-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and resistant to bending fatigue. However, elastic elongation is relatively large.
🔹 Polyester Fiber: Similar properties to nylon, but elastic elongation during use is only half that of nylon - making it a promising material for development.
🔸 Vinylon Fiber: Strength of 200 N/(mm·layer), smaller elastic elongation than nylon, easy to bond with rubber, and good heat resistance. However, strength decreases by 10-25% when wet. Used in limited countries such as China and Japan.
When weaving the core, only one type of fiber can be used, or two types of fibers can be blended or interwoven.
Supplementary Information
Ordinary conveyor belts are divided into many specifications and models according to different usage environments and requirements:
According to different usage environments, conveyor belts are classified into heat-resistant, cold-resistant, acid alkali resistant, oil resistant, food conveyor belts, and more. Key thickness requirements:
📋 Cover Adhesive Thickness Standards:
• Ordinary & food conveyor belts: upper cover ≥ 3.0mm, lower cover ≥ 1.5mm
• Heat-resistant, cold-resistant, acid/alkali-resistant & oil-resistant belts: upper cover ≥ 4.5mm, lower cover ≥ 2.0mm
• Thickness of upper and lower covers can be increased by 1.5mm depending on specific usage environment.

Q
What core materials are used in general conveyor belts?
General conveyor belts can use a variety of core materials, including all cotton canvas (CC), polyester cotton interwoven fabric (TC), nylon (NN), and polyester (EP). Each material has distinct properties — cotton is easy to bond but has lower strength, while nylon offers high strength and water resistance. The choice depends on the specific application requirements.
Q
What bandwidth options are available for general conveyor belts?
General conveyor belts are available in bandwidths ranging from 300mm to 3000mm, covering standard models such as B300, B400, B500, B600, B650, B800, B1000, B1200, B1400, B1600, B1800, and B2000. Custom widths may also be available based on project requirements.
Q
What is the operating temperature range for new material conveyor belts?
New material ordinary conveyor belts are designed to operate continuously across a wide temperature range, from -73°C to +260°C. This makes them suitable for applications in both extremely cold and high-heat environments without compromising performance or structural integrity.
Q
What are the minimum cover adhesive thickness requirements?
For ordinary and food conveyor belts, the minimum upper cover adhesive thickness is 3.0mm and the lower cover is 1.5mm. For heat-resistant, cold-resistant, acid/alkali-resistant, and oil-resistant belts, the minimum upper cover is 4.5mm and lower cover is 2.0mm. These values can be increased by 1.5mm depending on the specific usage environment.
Q
Which quality standard does this conveyor belt comply with?
This conveyor belt complies with the Chinese national standard GB/T7984-2001. Key performance benchmarks include tensile strength ≥ 15 MPa, elongation at break ≥ 350%, wear resistance ≤ 200 mm³, interlayer bonding strength ≥ 3.2 N/mm, and cover-to-layer bonding strength ≥ 2.1 N/mm.
Q
What types of conveyor belts are available based on application?
Conveyor belts can be tailored to a wide range of industrial applications. Available types include oil resistant, anti-skid, climbing, acid and alkali resistant, heat resistant, cold resistant, flame resistant, corrosion-resistant, moisture-proof, low-temperature resistant, high-temperature resistant, and flame retardant conveyor belts, among others.
