Engineered components built to withstand high impact, extreme temperature variances, and aggressive corrosion environments.
Hebei Boao Rubber Technology Co., Ltd. is strategically located in the Rubber Industrial Park of Boye County, Baoding, Hebei Province, China. Established in 2004, our facility covers an area of over 30 acres, hosting modern industrial infrastructure dedicated to producing elite material transport components. Under our prestigious "Jinao" brand, we integrate advanced research, bespoke mechanical designs, manufacturing excellence, and dynamic global business services.
As an ISO9001 certified company, we manage multiple high-tech production lines for rolling, shaping, vulcanizing, and testing rubber formulations from raw polymer feedstocks to finalized heavy-duty idler assemblies.
Commitment to reliability, high industrial standards, and an independent double-check inspection system.
We host an independent chemical analysis lab and a physics testing laboratory on-site. This ensures every stage of production—from raw polymer materials to final testing—is analyzed. Unqualified raw inputs never enter our workshop; substandard finished products never leave.
Our quality control staff utilizes state-of-the-art testing equipment to inspect roller runout, sealing performance, weld integrity, and elastomer hardness. Rest assured, your conveyor components will survive high mechanical wear.
Boao's components are deployed across major coal terminals, metallurgical plants, concrete mixing facilities, and fertilizer depots. Backed by solid engineering documentation, we assist engineers worldwide in resolving complex bulk transport problems.
In high-capacity conveyor operations, the return run of the conveyor belt represents a significant challenge for maintenance crews. While carryback—residual material sticking to the belt after discharge—is widely acknowledged as a primary cause of system wear, the mechanisms of how it compromises performance are often misunderstood. Standard steel rollers on the return run accumulate fine, sticky, or abrasive material, forming a hard crust. This crust alters the effective diameter of the roller, inducing lateral forces that cause belt misalignment, edge damage, and structural fatigue. Over time, the abrasive build-up acts like sandpaper, accelerating wear on the belt's bottom cover.
Rubber Disc Return Rollers provide a mechanical solution to this issue. Positioned on the return side of the belt, these idlers feature individual vulcanized rubber discs spaced at calculated intervals along a steel core. As the belt travels over these discs, the high-pressure contact area flexes, causing continuous micro-deflections in the rubber. This flexing action continuously sheds sticky carryback, preventing build-up on the roller shell. This keeps the return run tracking true and protects the conveyor belt from wear.
The operational success of a rubber disc return roller is governed by elastic deformation. When sticky material such as wet clay, wet coal, or ore fines bypasses the primary head-scraping system, it settles onto the return belt. As the belt passes over the rubber disc idler, the concentrated load at each disc creates a localized compression zone. The rubber disc deflects slightly under the load, expanding laterally. As the belt moves off the disc, the rubber returns to its original shape. This dynamic cycle breaks the adhesive bond of the carryback, causing the material to flake off and fall away, rather than compacting into a solid layer on the roller shell.
To address different material properties, manufacturers produce two primary types of rubber disc configurations:
Spaced evenly across the middle and ends of the roller. This setup provides stable support for the belt while allowing dislodged carryback to fall through the open spaces between the discs. Typically deployed on standard return sections with moderate sticky carryback.
Feature angled ribs that form a continuous spiral pattern toward the roller ends. As the roller rotates, the spiral pattern acts like a mechanical screw, pushing dislodged material outward away from the center of the conveyor, helping to prevent build-up near the conveyor frame.
Thick, solid rubber rings positioned closely together, typically at feed points under the hopper chute. This design absorbs high kinetic energy from falling materials, shielding the conveyor structure and idler bearings from impact damage.
A high-performance rubber disc return roller is more than just a steel pipe covered in rubber rings. Under harsh operating conditions, the roller must survive constant moisture, chemical exposure, temperature fluctuations, and continuous load cycles. At Hebei Boao Rubber Technology, we use specialized formulations and precise dimensions to ensure longevity:
How Hebei Boao maintains quality, control, and reliable delivery for global bulk handling infrastructure.
The global material handling industry faces ongoing challenges from volatile material costs, shipping bottlenecks, and shifting environmental standards. For heavy-duty operations like ports, mines, and steel plants, supply chain delays can lead to costly downtime. Hebei Boao Rubber Technology Co., Ltd. addresses these challenges by consolidating raw material sourcing, compound mixing, steel machining, and vulcanization within our own 30-acre facility in Boye County, Hebei.
This vertical integration keeps our operations resilient against external supply disruptions. We maintain strategic stockpiles of natural rubber and structural steel, allowing us to maintain stable pricing and dependable production schedules even during market fluctuations. Our on-site testing labs inspect all incoming materials, ensuring that every batch of rubber meets our standards for tensile strength, elongation, and abrasion resistance before it enters production.
By managing the entire production process under one roof, we minimize production bottlenecks, reduce transport delays between processing steps, and optimize manufacturing efficiency. This allows us to offer shorter lead times and consistent quality for custom configurations, helping industrial operators keep their conveyor lines running smoothly.
