Why Cast Polyurethane Elastomers Outperform Rubber & Steel in Modern Conveying Systems
Cast polyurethane exhibits up to 3 to 5 times the abrasion resistance of standard natural rubber and significantly outperforms carbon steel in slurry transport environments. Its molecular structure resists sharp impacts, keeping the roller surface smooth and belt friendly.

Exposure to salt spray, sea moisture, and heavy iron ore loads causes severe galvanic corrosion on standard steel idlers. Our custom-molded thick polyurethane coatings seal the metal roller shell, protecting it from corrosion and abrasive dust.
